Boise VAMC Organizational Chart Comprehensive Health Care Comprehensive health care is provided through primary, specialty and long-term care services in the areas of: Medicine Surgery Psychiatry Dentistry Physical medicine and rehabilitation Extended care Special Emphasis Programs PTSD Treatment Substance Abuse Treatment Contract Home Health Care (CHHC) Female Veterans VIST (Visual Impairment Services Team) Homeless Veterans Care Prosthetics Academically Affiliated The Boise VA Medical Center has several active academic affiliations including agreements with the University of Washington School of Medicine, Boise State University, and the Idaho State University. Over 275 residents, interns,
and students are trained at the Boise VA Medical Center each year.
